WELCOME TO BEACH COP DETECTIVES

Beach Cop Detectives is a podcast dedicated to Terriers, the one-season beach noir series co-created by Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and Ted Griffin (Ocean's 11) for FX in 2010. It lives on Netflix, and Beach Cop Detectives hopes to serve as the DVD extra equivalent for a show that has never gotten the DVD treatment, with episode-by-episode analysis and original interviews with many of those who helped make the show.

Beach Cop Detectives is a special project by Randy Lander and Grant Davis of The TV Dudes podcast and part of the Permanant RCRD podcast network.

Randy Lander is a father & owner of a comic book and game shop in Austin, TX. But perhaps most importantly, he is the #1 Terriers fan. He podcasts weekly about TV on TheTVDudes.com, about comics, games & other popculture on The Roguecast (roguesgallerytx.com).

GRANT DAVIS

Grant is the co-host of the podcast The TV Dudes alongside Randy Lander. Randy pitched the idea to do a dedicated ‘Terriers’ podcast to Grant and then somehow suckered him into helping out.

Cliff Coats is a local Austin playwright, comic book aficionado and author of westerns, fantasy, sci-fi and modern crime stories. He is the author of ‘Damnation’, a dark horror western novel, which you can find anywhere e-books are sold. He is also a huge ‘Terriers’ fan.

He is a regular contributor to the TV Dudes podcast, and achieved notoriety in 2015 when he was revealed to be the only 38 year old in America who has never played an XBOX.

Tom’s favorite episode of Terriers is the one where Hank and Brit get in over their heads.
